Nassau Swim Team is a participating member of PASDA (Princeton Area Swimming and Diving Association). We compete against other area teams, as well as in the Championship Meet and our signature intramural meet held at the end of the season. Our teams traditionally have a mix of experienced and novice swimmers, and the emphasis is on fun, skill development and being part of the team. Our Team name is the Lemmings!
We are excited for another season of Nassau swim team. In order to ensure that your children have a positive season with the team, we ask that you select three meets that you or your spouse can help with. Without your help there can be no swim meets as parents make up the task force.
At the parents meeting during suit try on we will go over the different roles which will be needed. In the event of an emergency and you cannot fulfill the meet you signed up for, it is mandatory that you find a replacement.
The typical practice is 90 minutes in duration.
First morning practice is 6/21
REQUIREMENTS: Team Members are required to have completed the deep-end test. No previous experience is needed to join the team. Parents of participants must also bring a baked good for the home meet (no nuts please). You are required to attend Championships, and the Mini-meet (if 10/under) - dates to be provided.
Though Nassau Swim Club offers online payment, we do encourage personal checks as a means to help control our costs.
