Greetings Nassau Swim Club Members!

My name is Emily Pruszinski, and I will be serving as Operations Committee Chair for the 2013 swim season.

Spring is here and it is time to get the pool ready for summer!!

We need you to help us beautify our club and prepare for a great swim season. We will have two clean up dates in early May devoted to mowing, mulching, planting, raking, power washing and setting up the club.

First Clean Up Date: Saturday, May 11, from 9 am to noon

Rain date: Sunday, May 12 from noon to 3 pm

Bring work gloves, rakes, tarps, gardening tools, etc.

Important for both Clean Up Dates: I need volunteers to bring a power washer, a grass seed spreader, a leaf blower, large tarps that can be used to collect debris, and tool boxes (wrenches, screw drivers, etc.). Please contact me if you are able to provide any of these items.

If you have your own lawn mower or weed whacker and would be willing to bring that as well, please let me know. The club has one of each machine, but duplicates will make the work go faster!

The lawn needs regular mowing, so if you are available to mow, please contact me to sign up for mowing as a co-op duty.

I would also like to ask for two or three volunteers to serve on the Operations Committee. Service will exempt you from further co-op duties. Please contact me via the email below if you are interested.

To sign up for either Clean-Up Date, please click Nassau 2013 Operations Sign-Up Sheet .

Thank you! See you at the pool!

Please direct any questions to Emily Pruszinski, Operations Chair, at operations@nassauswimclub.org

Participating in one of these clean-up dates will qualify as a co-op credit for you, so sign up and get it out of the way, so you can enjoy the rest of the summer!
