Nassau Swim Team is a participating member of PASDA (Princeton Area Swimming and Diving Association). We compete against other area teams, as well as in the Championship Meet and our signature intramural meet held at the end of the season. Our teams traditionally have a mix of experienced and novice swimmers, and the emphasis is on fun, skill development and being part of the team. Our Team name is the Lemmings!
REQUIREMENTS: Team Members are required to have completed the deep-end test. No previous experience is needed to join the team.
Nassau Swim Team is not possible without the support of our parents. We need nearly 30 volunteers just to host home meet. For that reason, families are asked to work at least 3 meets. Each family will be asked to submit a check payable to "Nassau Swim Club" for $100. This check will act as a bond until all volunteer duties are met. Kristina Hill, swim team representative, will be collecting these checks beginning with afternoon practices. All checks are due before the first swim meet.
Swim and Dive Team Parent Meetings will be held on Friday, May 30th. Dive team will meet at 5:00pm and swim team will meet at 5:30. Rain date will be Monday, June 2nd at the same time. Come enjoy some food and beverages, meet the coaches, learn about volunteer opportunities and swim team activities.
Though Nassau Swim Club offers online payment, we do encourage personal checks as a means to help control our costs.
