Children's Swim Lessons

Free Swimming lessons for children of Members at Nassau

Although free of charge, registration is REQUIRED prior to the first lesson in order to plan for sufficient number of instructors to ensure safety. Children not permitted to lesson until registration complete.

Participant MUST be potty trained and not in swim diapers.

Classes are limited to 6 participants unless further advised.

Participants of the Beginner Swimming do not attend the stroke technique during the same session. They must be able to swim in order to attend the stroke technique class.

Beginner swimmers: MWF - 11:15- 11:45

Class designed to teach youngsters how to swim (without a swim vest).


Stroke Technique Tues/Th - 11:15 - 11:45

Class designed for the youngster who is a new, but comfortable swimmer. Refines proper use of arms, legs and breathing with all 4 strokes.

Coaches may send younger team members to this class to work on a specific skill, however class is open to all members.


1st session, 2 weeks - June 29 - July 10

2nd session, 2 weeks - July 13 - July 24

3rd Session, 1 week - July 27-July 31
