Nassau Swim Team is a participating member of PASDA (Princeton Area Swimming and Diving Association). We compete against other area teams, as well as in the Championship Meet and our signature intramural meet held at the end of the season. Our teams traditionally have a mix of experienced and novice swimmers, and the emphasis is on fun, skill development and being part of the team. Our Team name is the Lemmings!
In early June afternoon practices begin. Typical schedule: From end of school until Championships (end of July), practices are in the morning (8-10am for age 11+, 9-11am for ages 7-10, 10-11 for age 6/under). August practices are typically 10-11am. We will post the actual schedule as soon as it is finalized.
Nassau does not accept responsibility for your child. We are collecting registration information for safety reasons only. Your registration represents acceptance of these terms, as well as parental commitment for volunteering at 3 meets.
REQUIREMENTS: Team Members are required to have completed the deep-end test. No previous experience is needed to join the team. Parents of participants must also bring a baked good for the home meet (no nuts please). You are required to attend Championships - July 25-26, and the Mini-meet July 9 (if 10/under).
